Pure Vue – Terms and Conditions (Version: October 2025)
1. General
Pure Vue offers products including sunglasses, Blue light glasses and eye care products (collectively referred to as the “Products”).
These Terms and Conditions (including any referenced documents and any specific terms confirmed by us in writing, together the “T&Cs”) apply to all offers and agreements made by Pure Vue E-com B.V. and its affiliates (“Pure Vue”, “we”, “us”), whether concluded online via www.pure-vue.com (or any other website operated by us), in stores, or through other (online) sales channels.
By placing an order or using our Products, you agree to these T&Cs. If you do not agree, you must stop using our Website and/or Products.

2. Orders
2.1 Formation of Agreement
Your order is confirmed once we have authorized your payment and sent you a written confirmation (including by email). If you do not receive confirmation within 24 hours after placing your order, please contact Customer Service. Pure Vue reserves the right to refuse any order.
2.2 Availability
If a Product is unavailable after your order has been confirmed, we will inform you as soon as possible. You may then choose an alternative Product or cancel the order for a full refund (see Section 3).
2.3 Prescription Glasses
By placing an order for prescription glasses, you confirm that:

all information provided is complete and accurate;
-
you are at least 16 years of age and are not registered blind or partially sighted;
-
you hold a valid written prescription issued by a qualified optometrist or optician within the last 24 months (or 12 months if you are aged 70 or older);
-
you will follow all instructions from your optometrist and Pure Vue;
-
you will provide your current prescription details upon request.
2.4 Contact Lenses
By placing an order for contact lenses, you confirm that:
-
all information provided is complete and accurate;
-
you are at least 16 years of age and are not registered blind or partially sighted;
-
you hold a valid prescription for your lenses, issued by a qualified practitioner or contact lens fitter within the last 12 months;
-
you have no known contraindications for wearing contact lenses;
-
you have been prescribed the lenses you are ordering by a qualified practitioner.
Pure Vue reserves the right to cancel or refuse the sale of contact lenses if we are informed of a contraindication by a registered practitioner.
2.5 Trial Lens Packs
If you order a trial pack of contact lenses:
-
you agree to have the fitting supervised by a registered optician;
-
after ordering, you will receive a single-use reimbursement code (€8 for spherical lenses or €10 for toric lenses);
-
the code will be sent in your order confirmation email;
-
the code is valid for one (1) year and can be redeemed online or in-store on your next Pure Vue purchase;
-
misuse or repeated requests may result in deactivation of the code.
You are responsible for ensuring your prescription is valid. Pure Vue is not responsible for damage or incorrect orders resulting from invalid or outdated prescriptions.
We strongly recommend that you have your eyes checked regularly (at least every 24 months) by a qualified practitioner to maintain eye health.
3. Pricing and Payment
All prices on our Website are stated in euros (EUR) and include 21% VAT. For purchases made in the United Kingdom, a reduced VAT rate of 5.26% may apply.
Payment is due upon placing your order. All credit and debit card transactions are subject to authorization by the card issuer. If authorization is refused, Pure Vue reserves the right to cancel your order.
Free delivery and/or returns apply to purchases over €100, to countries listed on our Website.
If payment is late, statutory interest will apply from the due date stated in the first reminder. Reasonable collection costs may also be charged.
4. Retention of Title
Ownership of the Products remains with Pure Vue until full payment has been received. You are responsible for keeping the Products safe and undamaged until payment is completed.
If payment is not made on time or in full, Pure Vue may reclaim the Products, with your full cooperation. Upon reclamation, the agreement is considered terminated, without prejudice to our right to claim damages.
5. Delivery and Inspection
Delivery will take place at the shipping address provided in your order. Products are deemed delivered once accepted by you or on your behalf at that address.
If delivery fails after two (2) attempts, we may contact you for further instructions and charge additional storage or delivery fees. If we cannot reach you, Pure Vue may cancel the agreement.
For in-store collection, delivery is completed when the Products are collected.
Estimated delivery time is 8–10 working days after order confirmation. Delivery times are estimates and not guarantees.
You must inspect the Products promptly upon delivery and report any defects within 30 days.
6. Cancellations and Returns
You may cancel your order before delivery by emailing contact@pure-vue.com. Any payment made will be refunded as set out below.
You may return Products within 60 days after delivery, for any reason. During this period, handle the Products and packaging with care. Contact lenses can only be returned if unopened and sealed.
Returned Products must be in original condition and packaging, with all accessories included. You can return items in-store, use the return label included in your order, generate one in your account, or request one by contacting us.
We are not responsible for any items returned to us by mistake.
Refunds will be issued within 14 days after we receive your return notice.
Please note that payments for Same Day Service are non-refundable.
7. No Warranty
Pure Vue does not provide any form of commercial or manufacturer’s warranty on its Products, unless explicitly stated in writing.
Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
8. No Medical Guarantee
Information on our Website is provided for general informational purposes only and should not be used for diagnosis or treatment. Always consult a qualified medical professional for eye health issues.
While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that our Website or its contents are complete, up to date, or error-free. Product images are illustrative and may differ from actual items due to screen variations.
9. Gift Cards
Currently unavailable.
10. Account, Personal Data and Privacy
When placing an order, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account information.
Pure Vue processes your personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy, available on our Website. By placing an order, you consent to such processing and confirm that all data provided is accurate and complete.
11. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights relating to the Website, its contents, design, trademarks and trade names are owned by Pure Vue.
You may use the Website and its content for personal, non-commercial use only. Any other use (such as reproduction, redistribution, framing, or linking) requires prior written consent from Pure Vue.
12. Force Majeure
Pure Vue is not liable for any delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, government actions, pandemics, war, or technical failures.
If such an event continues for more than 21 days, either party may terminate the agreement. Pure Vue will refund any payments received.
13. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement if:
-
the other party becomes insolvent, bankrupt, or subject to debt rescheduling; or
-
the other party fails to fulfil its obligations within 14 days of written notice.
14. Miscellaneous
Pure Vue may update these T&Cs at any time. The latest version applies at the time of your order.
Any variation from these T&Cs must be agreed upon in writing.
If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
You may not transfer your rights or obligations without our prior written consent. Pure Vue may transfer its rights and obligations to a third party without affecting your rights.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These T&Cs and all agreements between you and Pure Vue are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
If you are based within the EU (including the United Kingdom), disputes shall be submitted to the competent court of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
If you are based outside the EU, disputes shall be settled by arbitration under the Rules of the Netherlands Arbitration Institute (NAI) in Amsterdam, in the English language.
